Analysis: 1,827 noncitizens removed from Florida's rolls had cast 7,035 ballots

October 15, 2026 · Sunshine State Wire

A Florida election-integrity coalition says its review of records from all 67 counties found 5,612 noncitizens removed from the voter rolls — and that 1,827 of them had voted first. County supervisors haven't validated the findings.

A Florida election-integrity coalition, the Joint Task Force, says it reviewed voter records from all 67 counties covering 2020 to mid-2026 and found 5,612 noncitizens who were removed from the voter rolls — 1,827 of whom, it says, had cast 7,035 ballots before being removed.

The coalition argues numbers like that can decide real races, pointing to a 2021 congressional primary decided by five votes and a 2018 Baker County school board race decided by three. Only about 600 of the removed noncitizens were ever referred to the state's election crimes office, it says.

County supervisors of elections approached about the findings declined to validate them without the underlying data. The report has been given to Attorney General Uthmeier's office.
